Emileyt IPTV Player

What is the Xtream Codes API?

It is an HTTP interface offered by some streaming service panels that works with a server address, a username and a password. The player pulls the categories, the stream list and account details from it by itself.

How it differs from an M3U link

  • M3U: one link downloads a file containing the whole list.
  • Xtream Codes API: the player connects with three details and queries live streams, movies and series episodes separately. Large data such as series episodes can be loaded on demand.

Which details are needed?

Your provider gives you these details. The values above are for illustration only.

Account details show in the player

For Xtream accounts, details such as active connections, the maximum allowed connections and the account's expiry date can be shown in the player. Emileyt IPTV Player shows them on the account screen. With many providers, adding just an M3U link is also enough; the details are detected automatically.

Security notes

  • Your username and password give access to your account. Do not share them.
  • Do not show them in screenshots or forum posts.
  • Prefer servers that use an HTTPS address when possible.

Adding it to the player

See How to use for the steps.

The Xtream Codes API is only an access method. Whether you have the right to access the content is the responsibility of the party providing the account and you. Emileyt IPTV Player provides no accounts, lists or content. Disclaimer and copyright notice
