Does Emileyt IPTV Player provide channels, movies or subscriptions?
No. Emileyt IPTV Player is only a player. It does not provide, sell or refer you to channels, movies, series, subscriptions or ready-made lists. You use the app with the M3U/Xtream details from a provider you are entitled to use, or with your own file.
Where do I get a list?
We do not provide lists and do not recommend providers. You obtain a list from a provider whose service you have a legal right to access, or from your own archive. The provider of the content and the user are responsible for its lawfulness. See the disclaimer and copyright notice.
Is the app free?
Yes. Almost all features are available in the free version. Pro, a one-time purchase, changes three things: unlimited profiles, ad-free mobile use and profile personalization (icon and color). The free mobile version shows Google AdMob ads; the free Windows version has no ads. The price appears on the store page for your region.
Do I need to enter my device's MAC address on a website?
No. There is no MAC address registration, no external activation site and no per-device activation fee. You add the list directly in the app or transfer it from another device with a QR code.
Which list types and protocols are supported?
M3U/M3U8 links or local files, the Xtream Codes API and an XMLTV-based program guide (EPG). The Windows version also plays RTMP, RTSP, MMS, MMSH, UDP and RTP in addition to HTTP, with hardware acceleration. You can also paste a single stream link and play it without saving a list.
Which devices does it run on?
Android 5.0 and later, Android TV, iOS, Apple TV and macOS (App Store), Windows 10/11 (Microsoft Store) and Linux (AppImage). Versions for Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Amazon Fire TV and Huawei are in preparation. See the download page for the current status.
Can I download movies and episodes to watch offline?
Yes, on Android, iOS and Windows. Downloads continue in the background and resume where they left off if the connection drops; bulk cancel and delete are supported. Whether you can download an item depends on your provider's terms.
Are there profiles and parental controls?
Yes. Each profile keeps its own category preferences and can have its own 4-digit PIN, asked when switching profiles and when the app opens. The free version allows 1 profile; Pro allows unlimited profiles.
Some streams stutter. What should I do?
Stuttering is usually caused by the provider's server or your connection. In settings, try switching the decoder between Auto, Hardware and Software; on some streams Software fixes picture corruption. On Windows you can increase the buffer for your connection, and on a dropped stream the app reconnects automatically up to 3 times.
My list does not load. What should I check?
Check that the link opens in a browser, that the username and password are correct, that the account has not expired and that you have not exceeded the number of simultaneous connections your provider allows. If it persists, ask your provider; the list content and account status are on their side.
How do I install it on Linux?
The AppImage is a single file and needs no installation. After downloading, right-click it, open Properties, Permissions and tick Executable, or run chmod +x Emileyt_IPTV_Player-x86_64.AppImage in a terminal. You do not need to install mpv or any codecs; everything is inside the package. Requirements: Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Linux Mint 21+ or Fedora 36+ (glibc 2.35 or later).
Which languages are supported?
Turkish, English, German, Spanish, French and Russian. The language is chosen automatically from your device on first launch and can be changed in settings. Menus, error messages, notifications and search fields are all localized.
Can I move my settings to a new device?
Yes. Back up your profiles, preferences and settings to a single file and restore it on the new device or directly from the setup screen. You can also transfer list details with a QR code.
How is my data processed?
How the app handles data is described in its privacy policy. This website does not use cookies.
